Where Am I Going?

Where am I going in my life pursuits. It is a complex and heavy and ever changing question, but one that you need to ask yourself regularly. This ensures that you are 1) heading in A direction and not spinning in circles and 2) heading where you want to be heading at this point.

Today I want to narrow that down a bit and discuss where I’m heading with this website. (I’m writing this as I wait for technical support to get back into my website. I forgot to update my credit card number and now it’s not secure and even I can’t get to it.) The fact that I didn’t know what was going on brings me to my first thought on where I’m going. I want this website to become a more regular part of my life and I want to check in and update it more regularly. Even with a small amount of time I can at least check to make sure everything is running smoothly and maybe add a song to the list that I’ve really been enjoying.

Aside from just being more present and checked in with this website, I also want to sway it more towards my artistic pursuits. I’ve check in and asked myself “where am I going?” or more precisely, “where do I want to go?” and after much musing I think this is where I want to go, at least for now. I still like the idea of having all of my thoughts and goals and aspects of what I do in my life in one place and being able to share it, but I’ve recently taken more steps and interest in pushing my art forward and I think this website is an important avenue to continue doing that. I still need to figure out what that looks like, but putting that in writing here is a first step towards holding myself accountable and making it happen.

I have a new point to aim for and now consistency really is key. I have to be consistent (but also patient) as I move towards this thing that I have decided I want. Now, let’s get going!
